Brian Kibby Named Chief Executive Officer of MV Transportation, Inc.

DALLAS (January 6, 2015) – Lisa Winston Hicks, Chairman of the MV Transportation Board of Directors,
announced today that Brian Kibby has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company
effective January 7, 2015.
Mr. Kibby is the former President of McGraw-Hill Higher Education, a leading innovator in the
development of 21st century learning solutions for postsecondary and higher education markets
worldwide. At McGraw-Hill, Mr. Kibby was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the higher
education business and the development of market-leading digital tools, platforms and services. He
began his career at the company in 1991 as an account executive and later served as president and
general manager of McGraw-Hill Education in Australia and New Zealand.
“Brian comes to us with a track record that demonstrates his ability to understand markets, anticipate
opportunity and collaboratively rally teams around a vision to create competitive advantage and
success,” said Board Chair Hicks. “We are very excited about what Brian will bring to MV and look
forward to a renewed focus and energy within the organization.”
As MV prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary, company founder Alex Lodde, who has served as
interim CEO for the past four months, said it was important to the Board that the new CEO has a vision
consistent with the Board’s belief that MV’s employees and clients are the company’s most important
resources.
“I am confident in Brian’s ability to lead MV into the next chapter of our growing business,” Lodde said.

Listed as one of 10 “CEO Ready Leaders” in a 2013 Forbes Magazine article, Mr. Kibby says he is excited

Mr. Kibby is a proud military veteran, having served in the US Army, and holds a Bachelors of Science
degree in Finance from Western Illinois University. Mr. Kibby, along with his wife Beth, and their four
children will relocate to Dallas this summer.
