Upcoming Events January 17, 2015 Welcome to the Forest Lake Church where we endeavour to live and teach the gospel! MISCELLANEOUS FLEC 2015-2016 Registration • Beginning Wednesday, January 14 1. The application fee for returning students will be $50 until February 25. The fee will increase to $90 on February 26. Please take advantage of the lower fee by applying early. The registration fee will be $300 due on, or before, August 1. 2. Effective January 14, you may re-enroll through ParentsWeb or our FLEC website—www.myflec.com. 3. Your information is only as accurate as what you supply. Please check for accuracy. Returning students going into Kindergarten and 7th Grade MUST have updated immunizations before applications will be accepted. You may email questions to our FLEC nurse at [email protected]. SMALL GROUPS Ezekiel’s Wheels Music Concert The King’s Heralds quartet will present a concert at the Forest Lake Church today, January 17, at 5:00 p.m. Founded in 1927, the King’s Heralds quartet embodies a rich heritage in gospel music, performing a variety of musical styles which makes them a favorite with audiences of all ages. For our first ride of the New Year, Randy is taking us to The Sugar Mill at DeLeon Springs for breakfast on Sunday, January 18, for some awesome pancakes and other good food. Yes, it’s this Sunday! Guest Speaker – January 24 (2nd Service Only) On Sabbath, January 24, Jeremy Anderson will be our speaker at second service. Jeremy is the associate director of The Man Up Initiative and COO of Spirit Reign Communications. He has authored three books: From Prodigal to Prodigy, his personal autobiography; POWER Apps, a Daily Devotional for Youth/Young Adults; Self-Destruction, how to die to self and live in the Spirit of God. Jeremy and his wife, Traci, live in Alabama where he serves as an elder and Young Adult Outreach team leader. He is currently working on a Masters of Pastoral Studies at Oakwood University. She is survived by two daughters, Marguerite Silvera and Claudette Silvera; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
