HELP US PLAN AN EVEREST ADVENTURE!
Children’s Ministry is in the process of forming our
2015 VBS Planning Committee. It will be a fun
challenge to plan a COOL EVEREST VBS during
the hot summertime! If you are gifted in organizing
and planning and you love to share Jesus with our
children, then YOU are the person we need! The
first VBS Planning meeting is Thursday, January 29,
at 11:30am in Room 212. Please contact Karen King
([email protected], 672.1840) for details.

help, friendship, compassion, and spiritual comfort.
These groups meet Sunday evenings for 13 weeks
beginning Sunday, February 1, 5:00–7:00pm at
the church. Divorce Care, for those going through
a divorce or already divorced, meets in Room 308.
GriefShare, for those grieving the loss of a loved
one, meets in Room 305. There is no charge to
attend the group sessions. Workbooks are $10.
Please register at FirstPresGreenville.org, or fill out
a form from the literature racks and return it to

SUNDAY SCHOOL IN 2015: A COMMUNITY FOR
LEARNING, FELLOWSHIP, AND SERVICE
True Christian education... is giving [the student] the
framework for total truth, rooted in the Creator’s
existence and in the Bible’s teaching, so that in each
step of the formal learning process the student will
understand what is true and what is false and why it
is true or false.
—Francis A. Schaeffer
Sunday School at First Pres has three focus areas:
learning God’s Word and ways, enjoying the
community of fellowship with other disciples of
Jesus, and doing mission together for God’s glory.
Join a Sunday School class and be renewed in your
life with God. For details, visit FirstPresGreenville.

SEARCHING FOR A BIBLE READING PLAN?
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
PSALM 119:10
Many Christians take the beginning of a new year to
evaluate their Bible reading habits, and then change
or begin a Bible reading plan. Ligonier Ministries
has compiled a list of Bible reading plans to choose
from: ligonier.org/blog/bible-reading-plans/

PRAY FOR DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION TEAM
A mission team of 16 people will be traveling to the
Dominican Republic January 24-31 to share the

and evangelism with the patients waiting to see our
medical professionals. Your prayer support is vital to
this mission; please remember to pray throughout
the week of the trip, January 24–31. Follow the
team’s progress during the trip at Facebook.com/
firstpresgreenville.
