HIRING OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENT
IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) REPORT FOR SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION
& RECYCLING OF CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLATION WASTE AT THOKAR NIAZ
BAIG, LAHORE
M/s. Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is a company established under section 42
of the Companies Ordinance 1984, providing sustainable, efficient and improved integrated
Solid Waste Management Services in the city of Lahore. LWMC has proposed a Transfer
Station & Recycling Facility for C&D waste at Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. LWMC intends to
carry out an Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) before the start of the project under Clause
12 of the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act 1997.
The firm will be selected by following “Single Stage- Two Envelops” bidding procedure in
accordance with the Punjab PPRA Rules 2014.
RFP documents, mentioning detailed criteria, in the English language, may be purchased by the
interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000/- which should be deposited in LWMC bank
account No 3531-1, Liberty Branch, Bank of Punjab, Lahore. Pre-proposals meeting will be
held on Feb 02, 2015, at 11:00 A.M.
Proposals must be delivered to the address given below not later than February 11, 2015
before 1100 hours. Technical Proposals will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the
presence of the representative of the firms who may wish to attend. Bid security of 2% of the
total annual Financial Proposal, in the shape of CDR or Bank Guarantee, must be furnished
along with Financial Proposal.
M/s. LWMC will not be responsible for any cost or expense incurred by the bidders in connection
with preparation or submission of bids. In case of official holiday on the day of submission, next
day will be treated as closing date. RFP notice has also been posted on PPRA website
(www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and LWMC website (www.lwmc.com.pk).
