Indeed, our first reading from the book of Jonah is about repentance as well. The people of Nineveh hear God’s call to repentance, and respond accordingly. As we listen to these readings today, perhaps the message is that discipleship and repentance, turning around our lives, go hand in hand. How would that work in your own life?
