Architecture
- I’ve been practicing architecture for more than 2 years. Firstly I started in my room drawing
up sketches and since then I’ve professionally learnt the subject at Jonathan School of
Architecture for six months.
Writing
-I’ve written a number of newspaper articles on topics concerning positive thinking. Also I’ve
made the text for my schools summer brochure once.
Web Designing
- At the age of 13, I taught myself how to design websites and since then I’ve improved my
skills greatly excelling in many types of websites from ecommerce, blogs, landing pages,
portfolio holders and ordinary websites.

Graphic Designing
- Since graphics play a major role in websites I had to learn how to work with Adobe Illustrator
and Photoshop. I’ve mainly excelled my work vicinity in designing logos, product packaging,
invites, flyers, posters, infographics and editing images. I’m pretty confident to admit that I’m
proud of my work in this department.
Handling Cameras
- I have been an owner of Canon 70D camera and have used it for mainly for shooting videos
and taking pictures at family gatherings. I also shot the intro video for my schools website (can
be found at www.mayk.fi)
Cooking
- I love cooking and enjoy every second of it. I might burn the cookies sometimes but hey, it’s
still cookies.
Extracurricular activities participated
Delegate in Helimun
- Helsinki International Model United Nations HELIMUN ry is a student run, non-profit
organisation registered in Helsinki, Finland. HELIMUN ry arranges an annual, international
Model United Nations conference for secondary school students. HELIMUN conferences
provide a unique opportunity for students to practice their public speaking and language skills
and deepen their understanding of contemporary international issues and the work of United
Nations. I was chosen out 80 students to be one of the 12 representatives from Maunulan
Yhteiskoulu.
TET Work Practice at NextMesh Oy
- NextMesh Oy is an Espoo based company that works in many countries providing great Wi-Fi
services. I got to work along the CFO of the company sorting out the bills of the company and
later helping the mechanical crew install devices to different places. This also gave me a
chance to work next door at Rovio Entertainment Oy (the creators of the Angry Birds
franchise) for one day. I worked for NextMesh Oy for about two weeks.
TET Work Practice at Dressmann Vuosaari
- Dressmann being one of the most famous clothing brands in Scandinavia, I worked at their
Vuosaari store for two weeks. My tasks were to clean up the floor, vacuum, sort out the
clothes by sizes, fold the clothes, man the register, add tags, take out the cardboard boxes
that came in and get 5 free shirts for an outstanding work performance. I was also invited for a
summer job the day I left.
Investment offering for an idea
- Around 2012 I was brainstorming for idea for a strategic shopping mall and I presented the
idea to Excell Partners and they offered me $5,000,000 to work with them on building it. I
rejected.
