 Attention any girls interested in playing tennis this spring: Meet this Wednesday
immediately after school in Mrs. Conrad’s room for a short meeting.
 Attention All Boys 9-12th interested in playing baseball this spring. Please see
Coach Bishop in the PE office for signup and tryout information this week.
 Attention all high school ladies interested in soccer…there is a soccer camp at
WMU coming up the end of February. If you are interested, please pick up a
flyer in the office for more information.
 Snowcoming Week- This year Snowcoming theme is Hottest Hits.
Tuesday is Tuesday by I love Makonnen; wear your bling, baggy clothes, or
dress to impress.
Wednesday is Love me Harder by Ariana Grande; wear red, white and pink.
Thursday is The One that I Want by Grease; wear attire from the 50’s, 60’s,
70’s 80’s.
Friday is Welcome to the Jungle and Eye of the Tiger; wear Orange and
Black.
 Attention, Allegan High School students! The Orange Krate is having a Spirit
Week Sale. All items in the Krate will be 25% off during spirit week,
snowcoming shirts exempt. So c’mon down to the Orange Krate and take
advantage of the blowout sale of the century! Thanks and have a Krate Day!
 Attention Spanish Students – Today from 2:45-3:30 P.M., come to Mrs. Ojeda’s
classroom for Valentine card making and desserts.
 Students: You will be receiving an email this morning from Mr. Fisher that has
the final snowcoming ballots. Please log onto your device sometime during the
day today before 2:38 and submit your final votes for snowcoming 2015!
 Upward Spiral – 24-hour endurance run. Friday, February 20th – Saturday,
February 21st. Begins February 20 at 3:00 P.M. at the Allegan Field House
(behind L.E. White Middle School). This event is free. See posters located
around the high school.
 Timber Ridge Ski Club 2014-15 pay-as-you-go student and adult information
and forms are available in the main office. Questions please call Mindy
Sturman at 269-806-8501.
 The APS Fieldhouse, behind the middle school, is open to the community for
walkers, joggers, during the following hours: 6:00-7:30 A.M. and 5:30-7:30
P.M. (Monday-Friday).
 Congratulations to the following choir students for their participation in solo &
ensemble this past Saturday at GVSU. “Good” ratings were awarded to Zeke
Butcher & Mckennah Heckman. “Excellent” ratings were awarded to the
Mckennah Heckman & Brianna Price duet, & soloists Bailey Weaver, Dontae
Havinga-Hamilton, Emma Kasprzyk, Brianna Price, Brittany Groenwald &
Sadie Clark. Great job to all!
 Congratulations to John Barber for earning the rank of Eagle Scout!
 The health care class at the tech center is selling shirts to fundraise money for
The American Heart Association. These shirts will be selling for $10. All the
money they raise will be donated to the American Heart Association. If
interested, see Caitlyn Boylan or Miryssa Hill with your size shirt, and the
money for your shirt!
 It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for! Valentine singing telegrams will be
available for purchase this Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch in the back
hallway. Telegrams will be delivered 4th and 5th hour Friday, February 13th!
 Cell Phones- the media center is collecting cell phones. Please bring in your
unused cell phones to the media center. Collection is on-going, so bring them in
anytime.
 Community Service at the First Congregational Church in Allegan on
Thursdays. Show up at 4 P.M. to help prepare and serve dinners. Questions,
call Fran Brown at 269-673-3307.
 Anyone wanting “ACT-Math Review” materials, see Mrs. Olson in room 614.
 Seniors – Order your Senior Class T-shirts by Friday, February 13. We will be
collecting orders during this week’s home room (checks payable to Allegan
Public Schools or exact change only please) or you can drop off your order to
Mrs. Ward (Room 608). See the display case outside the main office or the
flyers around the school for the design.
 Seniors – If you need to order your cap and gown or additional items please go

 Seniors –New Updated List - The list for diplomas has been posted on the
main office window. Please check this list and let Mrs. Fales know immediately
if your name is not listed correctly. This is the list that will be sent to Jostens.
 Seniors: almost time to submit your FAFSA form, submit between Jan. 1-March

 Count Day is Wednesday, February 11th!
 Thursday, February 12th will be the PRE-ID for Juniors. They will be splitting
the grade so ½ will be in the AM, and the other ½ in the PM. The AM session
will include the PM vo-tech students, and the PM session will include the AM
vo-tech students.
 Taco/beef/noodle bake casserole, homemade bread, pea salad, and cherry crisp
