Hello All PAL Executive Directors,
The Howell PAL is excited to announce that the 6th Annual National PAL Region 6 Conference will be held
at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel located at 201 N. 17th Street Philadelphia, PA 19103
Cost to attend conference is $250 per individual (The Mentor Grant money can be used for this
conference. Any questions about the grant please contact National PAL directly.)
Price includes:




2 nights stay at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel
Dinner Thursday night
Breakfast & Dinner Friday night
Breakfast Saturday morning
*Please note all PAL chapters are on their own for transportation & lunch Friday is on your own.*
Tentative Schedule: The conference will begin Thursday evening with an opening ceremony, followed by
a fun activity for the youth. Friday morning there will be breakout session for the youth. Lunch is on your
own and you will be able to sight see in the afternoon. Friday evening there will be a breakout session.
Saturday after breakfast will be our closing ceremony.
There are a few different options on how to get to the conference:
Driving: The address is 201 N. 17th Street Philadelphia, PA 19103
Flying: Philadelphia Airport
Train: Philadelphia 30th Street Station
Please note all youth participants will be placed in rooms of (4), no girls will be rooming with boys and
no boys will be rooming with girls.
All chaperones will be placed in individual rooms located by their youth rooms.
If any PAL chapter will need to come in earlier or stay later, please contact the hotel directly and let
them know you are with the Police Athletic League (PAL) group.

Check in will be upstairs in the main lobby where all participants will sign in to receive your welcome
packets along with t-shirts and the itinerary for the weekend.
Please be sure when registering to include all of the following:





Completed registration form, signed waiver form & signed code of conduct for each youth
participant.
Chaperone name along with their contact information (phone number & email address).
Contact name and information (phone number & email address) if different then the chaperone
who will be attending the conference with the youth.
