Student Morning Announcements February 10, 2015 Morning Greeting Rise and Shine! Good morning everyone. Today is Tuesday, February 10, 2015, Day A. At this time, please stand and join me in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance as we pay respect and honor to our country, the United States of America. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. You may be seated. Birthday Wishes Today: Madeline Altenhofen, Alexis Dalberth, Brooke Green-Gray, Chance Henry, Cheyenne Lineberry, Riley Yack. Attendance: Yesterday’s overall attendance was 96.89%. Seniors had the highest attendance with 95.37%. Upcoming Falcon Time Meetings Today: Anime Club – FP209 Boys Tennis Informational Meeting – PE205 (This is for anyone interested in trying out for Boys Tennis this spring.) NHS – Performing Arts Center Yoga Club – CR228 Wednesday: Remedy Vine – CR104 Thursday: FEC – CR214 Spanish Club – CR228 Millennium Falcons Button Fundraiser The Millennium Falcons Robotics Team will continue to selling buttons in the Great Hall during lunch. You can order a pre-designed button for $1, or place an order to have a custom button made for $1.50. The robotics team will be at lunch all week. Movie Night This Thursday, February 12th at 7PM, the Staley Theatre Department is hosting a movie night in the Flex! The audience will get to vote between Guardians of the Galaxy, The Breakfast Club, and Love Actually. Admission is free so come and enjoy! Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. MCC Applications Attention Seniors: If you plan on attending college at any of the MCC campuses in the fall, please see Mrs. Wiggins in the Student Support Center. You need to finalize the application and placement testing process before Friday, February 20th. Math Club Math Club will be meeting today after school from 2:30-3:00pm in CR121. BTC Open House BTC will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:30 pm for any students or parents interested in learning more about the BTC Early College program. This event will be hosted at the BTC Campus, located on Front Street. You must RSVP prior to attending. Please stop by Student Support for more information about this event.
