CAT D L WI WS NE Forest Glen Middle School JAN./FEB. 2015 Volume 2, Issue 1 Ronald Forsman Principal 6th Grade Assistant Principal Ms. Barnett Principal’s Message Broward County Public Schools 7th Grade Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that half the year is over and we are in the last Assistant Principal semester of the school year. Students need to be accountable and responsible for their Mr. Ponder school performance. This includes self-monitoring of academic progress in class and adhering to the Secondary Student Code of Conduct. If you, as parents, check your child’s 8th Grade Pinnacle nightly, check their agendas, make sure homework is completed and encourage Assistant Principal them to take advantage of the tutoring and stay on task in class, you will help your child on Ms. Osborne the road to success. Have daily discussions with your child about their school day and what they learned. Make your home a school zone and together, we will help them reach their ~Mission of potential. FGMS~ Forest Glen is committed to educating all students to reach their highest potential. We are gearing up for the Florida Standards Assessment Testing and the FSA Writes, which is right around the corner. This is a new era in standardized testing for us and we are doing all that we can to prepare the students for this new rigorous test.
