This project was started several years ago by a former St. Patrick Catholic High School student. We will collect jars of peanut butter and jelly and attach a Bible verse to each jar. This is an affordable way to help minister to those in need. Students can begin bringing their jars to school and placing them in the box in the main hall. We will continue collecting through the month of May. Thank you for helping those in need, Mrs. Villarreal, Mrs. Holder and the 6th grade classes A new command I give you: Love one another. This national celebration of reading challenges students at all grade levels to join together and break the record for the number of Accelerated Reader™ Quizzes taken in one day. The record for students to top this school year is an amazing 4,987,949 quizzes. Our school is among thousands of U.S. schools that will help top this national record. Parents can join in the excitement by encouraging their child/children to read even more on the days leading up to the big event. During the event, Renaissance Learning™ will track national quizzes on its hosted database and share progress online. Educators, parents, and interested community members will be able to see progress toward the national goal at www.renaissancelearning.com/read-the-most.
