TEAM SPORTMANSHIP AWARD
STUDENT MURAL ART PROJECT
Congratulations to Coach Kyle Dulude and the
WVTHS Boys Soccer Team for receiving the
2014 MIAA Team Sportsmanship Award.
Students from our after school Art Club,
Friends of Rachael Club, and members of student body are working on painting the walls
and hand railings in the stairwell from lower to
upper campus. Eventually, murals symbolic of
each career technical program, with a focus on
integrated academics and community, will be
painted on the stairwell walls going up ‘the
connector’ between lower and upper campus.
Manufacturing Technology is the first program to begin their mural. Other CTE programs are working with Art Club advisor Mrs.
Pauline McClaflin to design their murals.
WVTHS will celebrate National Career
Technical Education Week from February
9-13. Below is our calendar of events for the
week. Please contact Mr. Rob Ollari at 413572-6533 ext. 60004 or by e-mail at
[email protected] for more
information.

FEBRUARY 9-13, 2015
Materials for this project were provided by a
grant from the Westfield Foundation for Education. The mural project will be on going during after school hours and weekends. We
would also like to acknowledge senior Susan
Mosijchuk who is painting our new Tiger logo
in the upper connecter wall. Keep up the great
work everyone!
