A Call to Wholeness - Oakland Community College
Oakland Community College A CALL TO WH LENESS annual women’s conference SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2015 Presented by the OCC Womencenter CREATING RESILIENCE AND WELLNESS Bari Berkowitz, MA, LLP, LLMFT will help you reconnect with your genuine self KEYNOTE PRESENTATION CREATING RESILIENCE AND WELLNESS On our journeys, we find ourselves at a crisis point, a crossroad, a time to make an important decision, a start or end to a chapter in our lives. The desire to release toxic relationships, self-defeating attitudes, destructive behaviors, or negative coping mechanisms challenges us to reflect and dig deep to find the courage to shed what no longer serves us well in our lives. Creating resilience on the paths we journey, and reflecting on and reconnecting with our genuine self is a gift we can create for ourselves. Learning to let go is a step on the path to making the change we desire. Enrich your journey as we learn the eight characteristics of resiliency. The presentation will include a 15-minute letting-go meditation. Bari Berkowitz, MA, LLP, LLMFT is a licensed psychotherapist and marriage counselor with a private practice in West Bloomfield.
