CHARGE
Muhammad Saqib RAZA, a dentist, registered as of Apartment 2, 26 Wolsey Island
Way, Leicester, Leicestershire LE4 5EY; BDS Baqai 2002, LDS RCS Eng 2013, is
summoned to appear before the Professional Conduct Committee on 11 February 2015
for an inquiry into the following charge:
“That you being registered as a Dentist:
1.
In December 2011, you sent a number of text messages to the Informant
(specified in Schedule 1);
2.
The Informant in 1. was a colleague working in the same dental team as you
in December 2011;
3.
One or more of the messages in 1. threatened to reveal allegations
regarding the informant’s sexual orientation to family members;
4.
One or more of the text messages in 1. was
5.
a.
Homophobic; and/or
b.
Abusive; and/or
c.
Insulting; and/or
d.
Threatening;
Your conduct in relation to 1. and/or 3. was
a.
Unprofessional; and/or
b.
Inappropriate; and/or
c.
Discriminatory.
and therefore your fitness to practise as a dentist is impaired by reason of misconduct.”
