HP TippingPoint is pleased to announce the release of version 3.8.0 of the TippingPoint
Operating System (TOS) for the N-Platform and NX-Platform family of Next Generation IPS
devices.
New functionality delivered in TOS v3.8.0 includes:





NTPv3 support
TACACS+ authentication support
Login consent banner
SNMPv3 usability enhancements
Support for SFP+ 10G Direct Attach Copper cables (DAC)

IMPORTANT NOTES


Prior to performing any upgrade, refer to the version Release Notes for migration

SMS v4.2.0 or higher is required to manage devices running TOS v3.8.0
