Applicants must be holders of a Ph.D. degree from relevant field from a recognized university..
They must have at least ten (10) years’ teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate
degree level, three (3)of which must be at Associate Professor level. They must have supervised at
least three (3) PhD and five (5) Masters students, at least six (6) publications in refereed journals or
3 publications in refereed journals and 3 chapters in scholarly books since the last promotion.
The successful candidates will be expected to provide academic leadership, teach at both
undergraduate and postgraduate students, organize and guide research programs, and undertake

Policy eg Biological Sciences from a recognized university.. They must have at least ten (10) years’

students, at least six (6) publications in refereed journals or 3 publications in refereed journals and 3

Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in Periodontology or Public Health or show evidence
of a PhD degree registration in the area indicated above from a recognized university. Applicants
with a Masters degree in Periodontology or Public
Health or its equivalent will also be considered. They should have at least five (5) years teaching
experience at both undergraduate and post graduate degree levels and must have supervised at least
three (3) Masters Students to completion. They must have experience in research as evidenced by
publications in refereed journals. In addition, they should have at least four (4) publications in

Construction Management, and Building Management or equivalent from a recognized university
from a recognized university. Applicants who possess a Masters degree in the above- mentioned
areas and have at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level and are registered for a
PhD degree in the relevant area will also be considered. They should have research experience, with
at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two chapters in scholarly books. They should

LECTURER, DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY & ARCHAEOLOGY -1 POST-AC/2/60/15(CHSS)
Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in History from a recognized university. Applicants
who possess a Masters degree in History and have at least three (3) years teaching experience at
University level and are registered for a PhD degree in the relevant area will also be considered.
They should have research experience, with at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two
chapters in scholarly books. They should show evidence of continuing research activity.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise at both undergraduate and
postgraduate students and undertake further research in their areas of specialization and also
participate in School’s activities.
LECTURER, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATIVE& PROSTHETIC DENTISTRY
-2 POSTS-AC/2/61/15- (CHS)
Applicants must be holders of a Master of Science degree in Dental Materials and have at least three
(3) years teaching experience in Dental Materials at University level. They should have research
experience, with at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two chapters in scholarly books.
They should show evidence of continuing research activity. They must be registered or registrable by
the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ & Dentists Board.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise at both undergraduate and
postgraduate students and undertake further research in their areas of specialization and also
participate in School’s activities.
SENIOR DEPUTY CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER (ASSISTANT REGISTRAR LEVEL)
- SECURITY SECTION- 8 POSTS- AC/2/62/15- (R&T)
Applicants should be holders of at least a Bachelors degree from a recognized University. They must
be appropriately trained in the Kenya Police Service to the rank of at least Inspector of Police and
worked in a police station setting. They must have retired from the Police Service honorably and be
persons of high integrity. They must have at least three (3) years experience as a Deputy Chief
Security Officer I and showed merit in their work performance and possess basic computer
applications skills.
The successful candidates will be expected to have the following working experience skills:i. Ability to organize routine security operations and criminal investigations.
ii. Ability to supervise security staff.
iii. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
iv. Ability to work during odd hours and public holidays.

SENIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY VICECHANCELLOR(A&F)-1 POST- AC/2/63/1-(R&T)
Applicants must be holders of a Masters degree or its equivalent in either Public Administration or
Human Resource Management or its equivalent.. They must also possess CPS(K) or relevant
professional qualification , nine (9) years administrative experience , three (3) of which must be at
Assistant Registrar level and be computer literate. They must be members of a recognized
professional administration or management body. They must be team- players and be competent in
all major aspects of human resource management.
Please note that the successful candidate will be deployed in the Central Examinations
Centre.
ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY VICE- CHANCELLOR (A&F)

Applicants should be holders of at least a Masters degree in public administration or human resource
management or its equivalent, CPS(K) or relevant professional qualification, 6 years administrative
experience , 3 of which must have been as a Senior Administrative Assistant Grade EF. They must
be computer literate and members of a recognized professional administration or management
body.
Please note that the successful candidate will be deployed in the Central Examinations
Centre.
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT GRADE EF, CENTRAL EXAMINATIONS

Applicants should be holders of a Bachelor’s (at least lower 2nd class Hons.) degree from a
recognized university and CPS II or relevant professional or postgraduate qualification in
management. They should also have at least three (3) years experience as Administrative Assistant
Grade CD or equivalent position. They must be Computer literate
ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE SECRETARY GRADE E IN THE FOLLOWING UNITS
A) ADMINISTRATION DIVISION- 1 POST- AD/2/66/15- (R&T)

Applicants should be holders of at least KCSE C or KCE Div. III or an equivalent qualification with

Management packages and have at least three (3) years experience as a Senior Secretary Grade D.
They should also have knowledge of Anti-virus Tools.
SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST GRADE DEF, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL
PHYSIOLOGY- 2 POSTS -AD/2/68/15- (CHS)
Applicants must be holders of a BSc. Degree or Higher Diploma in Applied Biology, Medical
Laboratory Science or equivalent plus five (5) years experience at the level of Technologist Grade
ABC or equivalent in a busy teaching/ research laboratory.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the preparation and teaching of practical
work for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. They will be responsible for care,
maintenance and proper use of laboratory, ICT and audio- visual teaching equipment among other
duties.

Applicants should be holders of at least a KCSE Mean Grade C with credits in relevant science
subjects and an Ordinary Diploma in Crop Protection or Analytical Chemistry plus 3 years relevant
experience in a Plant Pathology or Crop Physiology/Botany.
The successful candidate will be expected to organize soil chemistry practicals and also carry out
routine students’ practicals, help maintain relevant instruments and participate in Department
research and other activities.
OFFICE ASSISTANT GRADE A, SCHOOL OF COMPUTING & INFORMATICS

Applicants must be holders of at least a KCSE certificate or its equivalent. They must have at least
five years working experience in relevant offices. They must have a good school leaving certificate

in both English and Kiswahili languages. They must have served as Office Assistant grade IV or
equivalent position for at least three (3) years. They must have good public relations. They must
have knowledge of the use of office equipments like photocopiers etc and must be of high integrity,
reliable, disciplined and committed to work. They must be vetted officers.

The successful candidate will be expected to show outstanding merit and ability to handle highly
classified information and work with minimum supervision. They will also be expected to work
during odd hours and also during weekends.
JUNIOR TECHNOLOGIST GRADE IV, DEPARTMENT OF PAEDIATRICS & CHILD
HEALTH- 1 POST - 1 POST -AD/2/75/15- (CHS).
Applicants should be holders of at least a KCSE Mean Grade C with credits in relevant science
subjects. They should also be holders of a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a
recognized institution. They should have at least five years practical working in a busy Diagnostic
Laboratory in a teaching instition as Laboratory Assistant grade III or equivalent. Those who have
registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists’ & Technicians’ Board will have an
added advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in preparation of teaching materials, reagents and
maintain cleanliness of laboratory apparatus and equipment
OFFICE ASSISTANT GRADE IV, OFFICE OF THE ACADEMIC REGISTRAR-1 POST
– AD/2/76/15- (R&T)
Applicants must be holders of at least a KCSE certificate. They must have a good school leaving
certificate and a good reference letter from current Section Head. They must be able to
communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili languages. They must have served as Senior
Messenger grade III or equivalent position for at least three (3) years. They must have good public
relations. They must have knowledge of the use of office equipments like photocopiers and must be

Applicants should be holders of at least KCSE level of education or equivalent, a clean valid driving
license classes ABCE and PSV, passed in Occupational Test Grade I, a certificate in First Aid .
They must have at least five (5) years satisfactory previous driving experience at Grade IV or
equivalent , a clean record of service, good public relations and be able to work outside working
hours

Applicants should be holders of at least a KCSE level of education or equivalent, have a clean valid
driving license classes ABCE and PSV, have passed in Occupational Test Grade III, a certificate in
First Aid and at least three (3) years satisfactory previous driving experience after obtaining license.
