VACANCY
Quality Control Officer
Location: Husab Mine, Swakopmund
Reports to the Manager: IMS - Q
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Execute, direct, co-ordination and maintenance of comprehensive and integrated management IMS-Quality system to meet the
business strategy of the Company. This is a support function margining IMS and Quality implementation and is assisting in
continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of the integrated management systems (IMS) and ensuring that all
statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
Key Performance Areas:







Integrated Management Systems (IMS) establishment and implementation.
Safety and Quality IMS Audit Management programme effectiveness.
Reporting, Document Control and Administration.
Management of external relationships.
Own Professional development and growth.
Co-worker effectiveness in terms of professional relations.
Mine safety, health, environmental, radiation and quality effectiveness.
Requirements and experience:







Diploma or similar qualification in IMS-Q Management Systems.
Solid knowledge in ISO 9001,14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems and standards.
Quality certificate
IMS internal auditing course certificate
Valid Code 08 driver’s license coupled.
3 years’ experience in mining health, safety, environment and quality.
3 years’ experience in IMS preparation , quality implementation.
