Kate Welch,
Program Coordinator
Kate has worked with
older adults for nearly 20 years, including 12 years as
Program Coordinator at McGovern Park Senior Center. Kate
brings experience planning events and travel opportunities,
coordinating volunteers and instructors and creating
promotional materials. Kate bring extensive knowledge to
support program operations and innovations at Hart Park.
John and Kate would love to get to know you better!

Hart Park Senior Center membership is open to anyone
age 50 or better. Enjoy a variety of social, wellness and
educational opportunities in a center of community spirit
and fellowship. Annual memberships are required.

Payment and Registration Required
Advance registration and full payment (cash or check) is
required for all activities with fees. Register at least two
weeks before the start date in the center office. Activities
will be canceled if minimum registrations are not met.
For accommodations let staff know at time of sign up. Pre
-registration is recommended for programs without fees.

Hart Park Senior Center is a collaboration of the City of
Wauwatosa and Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Inc. The
center serves as a Nutrition Site for the Milwaukee County
Department on Aging.
Hart Park Senior Center relies on the support and
dedication of members, volunteers, donors and
community partners. Together we will work toward our
common goal of continued excellent activities, a fun and
friendly environment and meaningful volunteer
experiences.

Suggested Donation: $2.50/Age 60+

Enjoy a nutritious meal and meet new friends. New diners
are always welcome! Just make a reservation by noon the
day before you wish to dine.
Fees for activities and trips cancelled by the Senior Center
will be refunded or rescheduled.
Classes or Activities
Participants may cancel activity or class enrollment prior
to the registration deadline, and request a refund.
Registration fees are not refundable if cancelled on or
after a program registration deadline, and may not be
transferable.
Use Good Judgment
Participants assume the risk of taking part in activities.
The City of Wauwatosa, Interfaith Older Adult Programs,
Milwaukee County Department on Aging, and Milwaukee
County are held harmless from all claims resulting from
taking part in any activity at the Senior Center.
Participant Code of Conduct
Any participant whose behavior infringes on the rights of
other participants and/or staff, volunteers and instructors,
could result in being asked to leave the center or to be
prohibited from all senor centers managed by Interfaith
older Adult Programs. Any concerns about the center
must go directly to the Center Director.

The Underground Railroad Journey

Hunger Task Force Stock Boxes

Stockboxes are free, pre-packaged boxes of food delivered
to the center through Hunger Task Force. To apply for the
program you must be 60 years of age or older and meet
the income requirements. To register, bring a photo ID that

the spring concert filled with suprises,

Galena and The Celebration Belle
Featuring the Classic Oldies Cruise

Volunteering
makes a difference
in our community.
Greet Members at the Senior Center Welcome Desk
Friendly folks are needed to greet members and visitors at the center. These two-hour shifts are flexible and designed to
accommodate volunteers’ busy schedules. Contact John Neumann at (414) 471-8495 or [email protected].
Serve Meals in the Dining Site
Volunteer hosts are needed to help serve catered meals in the dining site. Hosts serve meals weekdays between
10:30—12:30 and work in teams of five people. There is a special need for volunteers on the 4th Monday, 4th Tuesday
and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Contact Dianna Bartelt at (414) 257-3534 or [email protected].
Provide Transportation for a Neighbor
Safe transportation is a critical need for older adults in Wauwatosa. Help your neighbors stay active by driving them to
medical appointments, the grocery store or other essential errands. Contact Diane Euting, Greater Tosa Neighborhood

help us learn the needs of Wauwatosa seniors.
