MATH MEET
Monday, March 30th from 2 to 4 pm, HHS will be the
location for the this year’s Math Meet.
If your child is invited to go to the math meet, the
middle school will bus your child to the high school.
Once there, your child will take 3 (30 minute) tests on
various math concepts. They may use a calculator and
it is fun to compete with students of their own age
from across the region! The concession stand will be
open, so participants can bring money and enjoy a
snack as well. Parents are responsible for picking up
their own children and can meet them at the west
entrance by the gym at 4:00 pm.
Results will be tabulated for this meet. If a child is in
the top 20% they will receive an honorable mention.
If they are in the top 15% they will receive a Superior
rating. Their grade is then graded against all others in
the state for further awards.
