Agenda
Municipal managers, elected officials, engineers, road and
highway managers, maintenance crews, emergency services
personnel, environmental, zoning, and planning committee
members will all benefit from this networking and learning
opportunity. Over 100 planning officials, engineers, and
other transportation industry experts from municipalities
throughout Delaware County are expected to attend.
Leslie Richards, Pennsylvania’s Acting Secretary of Transportation,
who will offer her insight into the future of transportation for the
county and state. This conference will give attendees the chance
to meet others in the field and exchange ideas for improving the
county’s transportation infrastructure.
This year’s theme is “Congestion Coordination & Traffic
Planning Solutions.” Transportation funding is also sure to
be a hot-button topic among speakers and attendees.

Delaware County Incident
Management Task Force
The task force was established to focus
on the limited access highways of I-95 and
I-476 in Delaware County. The purpose
of this group is to foster communication
and cooperation between organizations that are involved
in responding to traffic incidents in these complex and
congested interchange areas, to identify the incident
management needs, and to address those needs through
funding, training and other programs.

The Delaware County Coastal Zone Task Force meets quarterly. The
organization is made up of municipalities, businesses and interested
stakeholders in the coastal zone. The 13 municipalities that lie within the
area have unique aesthetic, environmental, cultural, recreational and historic
opportunities that this group strives to preserve and promote.
