RIPWOOD LIVESTOCK AUCTIONS, LLC. RULES
Ripwood Livestock Auction Services, will be conducted in strict conformity with the Act as
amended. All horses brought on the grounds will be closely inspected by a person qualified
to detect and diagnose a horse which is sore, and management will prohibit the sale, offering
for sale, or auction of any horse which is sore.
12 MONTHS NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST REQUIRED
Ripwood Livestock Auction Services, reserves the right to substitute a horse for one in the
catalog if we are notified that the horse will not be at the sale. That number may be given to
a new horse and he will sell with that number in order.
CONSIGNORS
All horses that are cataloged and entered in this sale are REQUIRED TO PAY $160.00
regardless whether they show up or not. Once horses enter the sale grounds they will not be
allowed out the gate without a paid stamp.
The animals consigned to Ripwood Livestock Auctions are entirely at the risk of the
Consignor until sold and fully paid for. At that time they are then the responsibility of the
new owner. Ripwood Livestock Auctions is only responsible for the sale of the animal the day
of sale.
In any case that purchaser fails to pay for or pick up animal sold to him, Ripwood Livestock
Auctions Services, is then authorized to accept the same amount from another person or they
may, if in their judgment it be in the best interest for all concerned, put the animal up for sale
for a second time. But in case the animal does not bring the same amount, the consignor
agrees to receive it back as unsold without attaching any liability to Ripwood Livestock
Auctions unless the said Consignor is present and agrees to take the last bid on the animal
when run through the sale a second time, and this condition includes in its obligation the
stoppage of payment of checks or drafts or any action of that nature.
FEE
$160.00 CONSIGNMENT
Commission: 8% of The Final Bid Price
BIDS
The highest bidder will be the buyer, and if any dispute shall arise between two or more
bidders, the animal in dispute shall immediately be put up again for advance bids. If there is
no advance, then the animal shall go to the person from whom the Auctioneer recognized the
last bid. Ripwood Livestock Auctions is authorized by the Consignor for each animal to
decline any bid made by parties who have defaulted on former purchases or by any persons,
in their judgment, that are not responsible.
LIABILITY
Buyers and spectators are cautioned to take care of themselves while horses are being sold
or shown in the sale ring as well as on the grounds. We urge all in attendance to keep clear
of the sale ring. If there is an accident Ripwood Livestock Auctions disclaim any liability.

ALL ANIMALS ARE VET & DQP INSPECTED AND ARE SOLD WITH NO
WARRANTIES OR GUARANTIES.
NO ANIMAL IS TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL.
Any horse turned down in the DQP area is still subject to their consignment fee of
$160.00.
