Program Objectives
OACNS hosts the conference to give Oklahoma CNSs a local place to obtain pharm hours. OACNS invites any
neighboring states CNSs as well as any other Advanced Practice Nurses needing Pharm hours.
Following completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
 Identify disease management and evidenced-based practice to use in care of a wide range of disease
processes such as cardiology, neurology, urology, acute and chronic disease processes.
 Discuss updates in pharmacology related to management of selected medical & mental health disorders.
 Describe the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse in prescribing medications in acute and chronic conditions.
Speakers
Advanced Practice Nurses and Physicians will be sharing their expertise with the participants.
Pharmacology Hours
Maximum of
16 pharmacology hours possible per participant.
We have applied for approval from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing for
continuing education category.
16 Total Pharmacology Hours Level B
Nurses wishing to take this course for the purpose of renewal of prescriptive authority recognition are reminded that any
pharmacotherapeutic courses for continuing education credit must be relevant to their scope of practice.
Contact Hours:
INTEGRIS Health is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing
Center’s commission on accreditation. This activity has been provided through INTEGRIS Health for
14 contact hours
if all sessions are attended.

Conference Material will be available online to download prior to the conference and on a flash drive at the conference. You will receive an email with the link to the handouts
when they become available from the speakers. Some presenters might not have handouts.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are subject to a $50 service charge; cancellations must be received by Apr.2; there will be no refunds after Apr.2, but you may send
someone in your place; email [email protected] the name of the substitute. Refunds will be processed four weeks after the conference. (PayPal refunds will be faster.)
