Shul Announcements
Please join in the supporting of the extremely important work of Project SARAH, as well as showing honor to this year's award
recipients, at their annual fundraiser breakfast, Sunday, at 9:30am in Keter Torah. Project SARAH helps victims of domestic
violence (both physical and verbal) and sexual abuse and provides educational and training services to prevent abuse and
insure the safety of those in our community. If you cannot attend the breakfast, consider donating online by following the link
below. http://jfsclifton.org/projectsarah/projectsarahbreakfast/
BMOB will be participating in The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s fourth annual community-wide mega food drive,
this Sunday. As part of this worldwide event, the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey is conducting a mega communitywide food drive to benefit six food pantries and a local elementary school. Our food pantries are in desperate need of
restocking and we are hoping that our efforts on Good Deeds Day will help fill their shelves. There will be a box to deposit food
items you may want to donate at our Shul this Sunday.
The NORPAC mission to Washington this year will be taking place on May 13th, below is the link to register.

College, Religious Zionist of America and Yeshiva University.

Our Sisterhood arranges meals for members with new babies. If you are interested in making a meal or would like to have meals
arranged for your family, please contact Rachel Neufeld ([email protected]) or Daffy Yahalom ([email protected]).
To get involved in the sisterhood please email Sarit Glass and Esther Slomnicki at [email protected].

Welcoming Committee: There have been many new faces in our shul over the course of the past few months. In order to make it
easier for new families to be properly welcomed, we have created this new email account. We ask all of you to join in our efforts by
contacting Chavi Satz or Leah Gottlieb at [email protected] if you know of a new family that has moved into the
community. Another initiative that we would like to institute is to ensure that each new BMOB family be welcomed into the home of a
current BMOB family for a shabbos meal. If you would be interested in hosting a new family at any point (this is not a commitment),
please email the welcoming committee to gather your information.
*************
With your help, we look forward to continuing our efforts to establish a warm and welcoming shul.
Message from the Bergenfield Police Department: Please use the crosswalks when crossing. Also, please make eye contact with
drivers to ensure they are stopping, and when the vehicles stop, proceed swiftly across the street, paying attention to traffic at all times.
Please wear bright clothing, especially at night time, or utilize reflective tape on yourself and strollers.
