Meeting, and listen to Dr. James Ponce,
Superintendent of McAllen ISD who will
speak about the proposed $297 million
bond issue. It is important that everyone in
the community be as informed as possible
about this upcoming bond issue which is to
be voted on May 9, 2015.

The parade of homes committee
will hold a “Mandatory Meeting”
of all builders in the parade to go
over all the rules and guidelines
and to get feedback from our
builders on other issues of concern
to them. We will keep you updated
on this meeting.
Invitation is also open to all our
associate members who wish to
offer their discounts to all builders
with entries.
Advertising Agreements have been
send out to all our associate
members to support the parade of
homes guidebook. Information
was also send to them in reference
to the “Partner With A Parade of
Homes Builder”: anyone wishing
to promote their business at anyone
of these parade of homes must be a
member of the RGVBA, purchase
an ad in the guidebook or pay a fee
for the service. Parade of Homes
Builders, sponsors, members pay a
fee to be a part of this big event for
the exposure and we feel that
anyone interested in participating
must pay some type of a fee as well.
All Ad Agreements/ads/fees must
be received at the RGVBA office or
as stated on the Agreement, by no
later than Monday, March 16.

With the revamping of the GreenBuilt RGV
program, we are still looking and asking for
volunteers that would like to be in this
committee to assist Rafael Munguia
GreenBuilt RGV Chairman, Rafael
Munguia is quite busy updating the
GreenBuilt RGV program with new
changes. He, along with Paco Vielma have
updated the GreenBuilt RGV website
(rgvba.org) with all the new changes. Look
forward to hearing from Rafael and the
board office on upcoming information and a
meeting of all GreenBuilt RGV builders.
We will be contacting all builders that would
like to register to build green and renew
those that are already in the program.
GreenBuilt signs will also be updated and be
made available to those GreenBuilt builders
building GreenBuilt homes.
RGVBA HAS A NEW WEBSITE
We invite you to visit the newly revamped
RGVBA website, rgvba.org where you will
have access to any and all RGVBA
programs, including forms, membership
applications, newsletters. If you have any
questions, please let us know.
