Jorey Lee Brewis, 19, of 326 Hoyt St., was arrested shortly after midnight Thursday on two counts of firstdegree burglary, firstdegree robbery, seconddegree theft and menacing. He was lodged on $500,000 bail in the Jackson County Jail. Ashland police say Brewis and an unidentified woman entered a home on the 700 block of Iowa Street at about 9 p.m. Tuesday. The pair was surprised by the resident when she returned home. Brewis reportedly threatened the resident with a knife as he and the woman took off. But police arrested a third person, Derrick Shane McGrew, 19, Tuesday night on charges of first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit firstdegree burglary. Police said he was a lookout for Brewis and the unidentified woman. He was held without bail in the Jackson County Jail. The unidentified woman remained at large Thursday. Police said the woman is white, aged 18 or older and heavyset. 0 of 3 Premium Clicks used this month Top Video Headlines of 3 COUPON OF THE SUBSCRIBE WEEK PRINT + ONLINE SUBSCRIBER ACTIVATION | REGISTER Save 50% or more on LimelightDeals.com Visit limelightdeals.com/deal/southern‐ oregon to view deals that will...
