Champions Hockey League (CHL):
 The CHL is an European ice hockey league for club teams
 48 clubs from 13 countries, playing a total of 157 games, determine the club champion
of Europe.
 The season begins in August and lasts until February
 The league head office is in Zurich

What you will be doing for us:
 Active participation in the communication strategy of the CHL
 Representing the CHL towards media – Development of the existing network of
international journalists – proactive contact with relevant media
 Maintenance and involvement of all CHL club communication managers
 Organisation of press conferences and other media events
 Strategy, planning & implementation of digital campaigns
 Develop the concept and presentation of the league’s website
 Development and quality control of content on championshockeyleague.net with
access to the content management system
 Coordination of external content suppliers (Journalists, Bloggers etc.)
 Compile analyses and create strategies and concepts for social media
 Integration of social media in the CHL communication campaigns
 Further development and increase of the awareness level of the CHL brand in
cooperation with CHL’s marketing department
What you bring along:
 Higher Marketing- or communication education, PR or Journalism, completed education
in Business Studies, Commercial Information Technology
 Extensive knowledge of the international sport scene, in particular ice hockey
 Knowledge and experience in the area “New Positioning of a Trademark/Brand”
requested
 Experience in journalism will be considered as a merit
 Professional experience in the area of web content management & social media
 Skills in web design
 Documented high quality and goal orientation, engagement and work ethic
 Entrepreneurial attitude with independent and creative, solution-oriented approach
 Ability to work in a team, good social skills
 Perfect bilingual skills, German and English required (spoken and written)
 The position will require travel, in particular during activity-heavy periods
