has a full time position for a journalist at our
Euroa office.
We seek a well-rounded journalist with
newspaper experience to oversee the Euroa
Gazette.
The successful candidate will need to be a
self starter, as they will be required to work
independently and with minimal direction.
This role would suit a community-focused
journalist with a strong ability to establish and
maintain contacts within the local area and
build rapport quickly with all walks of life.
Excellent writing, communication and
organisational skills, and the ability to generate
ideas into relevant news coverage that matters
most to a local readership, will be among your
strongest assets.

ACCOUNTANT
Full Time Position/Flexible Working Hours
The Company
HG Turf Group is currently recruiting for an Accountant
to join the Sales and Administration office located at
Alexandra Victoria handling their accounting duties
for 3 entities of the group.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual
keen to assist in the accounting and admin function of
the well established, successful and growing business.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager and as part of a small team:
• Hands on ownership of invoicing processing, EFT
payments and receipts and payroll processing with
high level attention to detail
• Responsibility of Debtors and Creditors ledger,
reconciliations and month end reporting
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures
especially in General Ledger month end procedures
and Cash Book reconciliation
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in
preparing BAS, monthly Payroll Tax and Year End
reconciliation, Workcover and Superannuation
• Perform general and administration duties with
Ad-hoc duties when required by the manager
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will display a mix of broad
accounting experience and importantly, a positive and
results driven approach to your work. An attractive
remuneration package (based on experience) will be
offered to the successful candidate.
• Preferred to be studying towards/completed a
diploma/bachelor in accounting
• A minimum of 5 years' accounting experience,
preferably in a similarly broad role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
and be able to build strong relationships with
stakeholders
• Intermediate/advance Excel and experience in
using accounting software
• Ability to work in fast paced and ever changing
environment
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and
accuracy
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
but also able to work with limited supervision
• Proven reliability and integrity with good work
ethics
