Welcome Message
Dear Colleagues and Friends, It is a matter of great honour and privilege to invite you all
to the Holy City of Amritsar for the 40th Annual Conference of Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons of India to be held from 19th to 21st November, 2015. The venue
of the conference will be the sprawling campus of Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of
Medical Sciences and Research Amritsar.
The scientific program shall be designed not only to help in honing the skills of the
experienced maxillofacial surgeons but also enhance the knowhow of the postgraduates
and trainees of the speciality. The stimulating sessions shall encompass a wide arena of
guest lectures, research papers, panel discussion, poster presentations and instructional
courses. The theme "Gold Standards in Maxillofacial Surgery" will provide a forum to
keep the surgeons abreast with the latest developments in the field of Maxillofacial
Surgery. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for you to network and
meet your colleagues from the fraternity. The trade fair will be integral to the conference
and will provide you with an opportunity to meet traders from all parts of the country
dealing in various maxillofacial implants, instruments and equipments.
The City of Amritsar is renowned worldwide for its hospitality, cuisine, rich culture and
heritage. The City's main attractions are The Golden Temple, Wagha Border (Indo-Pak
Border), Jallianwala Bagh and many more. November is the ideal time to visit Punjab
when the charm of winter haze just sets in.
Once again the Organizing Committee invites you to partake the legendary Punjabi
"Joie-de-Vivre" in November 2015 at Amritsar. "Come and feel the warmth of Punjabi

Abstract Submission Guidelines
General Instructions
•
Members of good standing of AOMSI are allowed for scientific presentations at 40th
AOMSI, Amritsar.
•
Registration for 40th AOMSI is a prerequisite for abstract submission and presentation.
•
All abstracts to be submitted online at www.40aomsi.com by clicking the "Abstract
submission" link.
•
Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
•
Student delegates are only eligible for E-Poster presentation.
•
Oral presentations should be done in MS office power point- 2010 format or a compatible
format.
•
8 minutes will be allotted for oral presentation followed by 2 minutes of discussion.
Oral Presentation
•
Last date for submission of abstracts for ORAL PRESENTATION is July 31st, 2015.
•
30 best papers (after initial evaluation) will be notified through e-mail to submit full text of
their papers in blinded format at [email protected] till September 15th,
2015.
•
Out of these 30 papers, 10 papers will be selected for presentation in the Prize paper
session at 40th AOMSI.
•
Final presentation schedule will be sent to all the delegates through e-mail by October
15th, 2015.
•
All other abstracts will be eligible for free paper presentation.
E-Poster Category
•
Student members of AOMSI are only eligible for submitting abstracts in E-POSTER
Category.
•
Abstract should not exceed 200 words.
•
Last date for submission of Abstracts in E-POSTER category is August 15th, 2015.
•
Accepted abstracts will be notified through email.
