Khaldoun Hajaj joined The Dow Chemical Company in 2011 as Head of Government Affairs - Middle East, Africa and Turkey. Prior to joining Dow he was a Senior Adviser at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Khaldoun has two decades of experience in Public Policy and Government. Having worked as an Advisor and Analyst in the Australian Parliament for more than 5 (advised on Infrastructure, Consumer Protection and Corporate Law Reform, Immigration Policy and Population) years, he subsequently took up a position Managing Government Affairs and Policy Strategy at one of Australia's leading financial services associations. He was a key lobbyist for the $1.2 trillion pension fund system in Australia. Khaldoun gained the bulk of his public policy and advocacy experience as a banking and finance commentator where he developed a national reputation. Khaldoun holds degrees in Law and Political Economy from the University of Sydney.
