Today, 29 March 2015 marks the 7th and final day of national mourning for the late Mr Lee
Kuan Yew, our first Prime Minister and beloved Founding Father. Together with church leaders
in this nation, our leadership believes that this is an important time to unite our hearts in prayer
for our nation.
1. Let us honour God by honouring Mr Lee Kuan Yew in the following ways:
• Celebrate his life, leadership and legacy. Acknowledge Mr Lee as a gift of God to
Singapore, to Asia, and the world.
• Acknowledge God’s hand in shaping Singapore through the strong, visionary, discerning
and wise leadership of Mr Lee.
• Thank the Lord for the excellent example he has set in Marriage and Family.
2. Let us ask God to comfort and strengthen Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his
family in this time of bereavement.
3. Let us re-dedicate ourselves to love Singapore and to lay down our lives for her.
We can pray for:
• an awakening of godly patriotism
• a heart of gratitude
• a love for righteousness
• a deep sense of rootedness
• a new unity to bless and build Singapore
4. Let us pray for God to bless the next generation
• To be willing and well-honed by God for public service like Joseph and Daniel to bring
godly transformation to Singapore in the coming 50 years

JOINING THE FAMILY

This course aims to help participants understand God’s heart
for the Church and His call for us to be identified with a local
body of believers. Besides believing in our triune God, we
are also called to belong. We are created for community. This
course prepares you to become part of the RiverLife family so
that together, we can share and be partakers of our mission,
vision and faith goals.
We will also share with you the application process for
Associate Membership.

We praise God for the missions giving to-date.
Let us continue to pray for our Missions committee and
staff as they look into the distribution of this money for the
advancement of the gospel in the nations.
You can continue to give by enclosing your cash or cheque
in the tithing envelope (tick ‘Missions’) and dropping it into
the offering bag during services for the rest of the year.
Cheques may be issued to ‘RiverLife Church’.

If your teenager attends MegaLife and has not registered for
the camp, you might want to help him/her to do so at the
camp booth at the Atrium.
You will need to submit the following when you register:
1. Completed registration and parental consent form
2. Photocopy of passport
3. Cash or cheque payment of $235 (with 20% discount for
2nd child and 50% discount for 3rd child onwards)
If your teenager does not attend MegaLife, you might want
to sign up for them if they are interested to participate.

CLOSURE
We have been informed that Downtown East Food Court will
be closed from this coming Tue, 31 Mar until sometime next
year for upgrading works. Do take note and make
the necessary adjustments if this closure affects you.
