Academy & Finance is hosting a conference on the theme “Uranium Investing” focused
on the uranium exploration and development companies.
The target audience will be sophisticated members of the investment community who are
familiar to understanding the potential of uranium within a broader macro-economic and
geopolitical framework and who are interested in hearing from the uranium juniors.
Each company will have 20 minutes followed by a 10 minute question & answer session.
The audience and the company presenters are encouraged to engage in more detailed
discussions during the breaks.

The attendance is by invitation only. Attendance is free of charge. Academy & Finance selects who is invited to attend:
only the serious and significant investors who have a long experience in investing in the junior mining market. We do
not invite retail investors and we do not invite service providers or non-sponsoring mining companies.
The attendees in Switzerland especially are long term investors who buy on the market and participate in private
placements and hold the stocks for many months and years. The attendees know the particular high risk-high reward
characteristic of the junior mining sectors. The attendees are very loyal and they attend the conferences regularly
since our first events in 2006. They attend in bull markets, they attend in bear markets. They have an extensive experience in the business and their age is mostly between 50 and 70 years old. They are very demanding, they study the
companies before attending the presentations and the one on one meetings and ask astute questions: burn rate, cash
position, dilution risks, permitting issues, management shareholding position, geopolitical risks.
In Switzerland more than 250 different banks and asset management companies have attended our annual conferences since 2006. In Asia, more than 200 since 2009.
Over the years we built a rich database of 5000 investors in Switzerland and 3000 in Asia who have attended our
events or other major mining investments shows.
2006-2015: 9 years of experience in the resource sector
Established in Geneva in 2000, Academy & Finance is specialised in the organisation of conferences for the wealth
management industry: tax and estate planning, anti-money laundering, private banking, asset management, junior
mining, oil & gas. The company organised more than 600 events mainly in Geneva, Zurich, Luxembourg, Monaco,
Vaduz, Singapore, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The company has hosted over 80 Global Resources Investing
conferences in Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi since 2006. These conferences have
promoted more than 250 different junior mining companies based in Canada, USA, the UK and Australia. Academy &
Finance opened offices in Hong Kong in 2011 and in Dubai in 2013. Since 2007, John Kaiser has been a regular speaker
in the conferences organised by Academy & Finance in Geneva, Zurich, Hong Kong and Singapore.

In March 2006 in Geneva, Academy
& Finance organised its first conference on
mining investments: “Uranium Investing”.
Then, in May 2006 in Geneva, Academy
& Finance organised its first Gold Investing
conference featuring Doug Casey, Frank
Veneroso, Paul van Eeden, Jeff Christian,
John C. Hathaway and Ross Beaty. The companies included NovaGold, Endeavour Silver,
Panamerican Silver, Red Back Mining…
In November 2006 Academy & Finance
organised its first Gold Investing conference
in Zurich with speakers David Baker, Bob
Bishop, James Grant, John C. Hathaway,
Paul van Eeden, Frank Veneroso. Companies
included Osisko, Aurelian, Goldquest,
Romarco, MAG Silver, Helio Resource,
Canarc Resource Corp. …

2009: ALBERTA ECONOMIC FORUM
2012: EXPANDING TO THE MIDDLE EAST
In May 2009 in Geneva, Academy & Finance
co-organised the Alberta Economic Forum
with the Honourable Ed Stelmach, Premier
of Alberta.
2009: EXPANDING TO SINGAPORE
In October 2009, Academy & Finance
had the opportunity to organise its first
“Global Resources Investing” conference
in Singapore. This was the first of a series
of Asian conferences.
2010-2011: EXPANDING TO HONG KONG,
SHANGHAI, TAIPEH
It took us 6 months to prepare the first
conferences in Hong Kong and Shanghai in
June 2010. Shanghai was especially challenging because of the programme, the
slide presentations had to be translated in
Mandarin; presentations were simultaneously translated in mandarin; every sponsor
and speaker had his personal translator.
Then we organised:

October 2011
