She was a telephone operator for AT&T, served as an Office Manager for Murphy Ins. of Cambridge, and briefly worked as a Registered Manicurist. She was a gifted crafter in the realm of knitting, crocheting, needlework & afghan design. She was also a member of Ladies’ Slippers, a group who design & create diminutive doll house furniture. For years, she was a girlscout leader in Concord and served as a team mother & chaperon for the Haydenettes Recreation Center of Lexington (SYNCH IceSkaking Competitions).
