ADG’s Mobile IETP Viewer for Android utilise single
source IETP packages generated from the R4i CSDB
Server, including support for applicability.
Optimized for small screens and large fingers, the native
Mobile IETP Viewer are simple to use and can access
content in both online and offline modes.
Included with the R4i MobieTP Viewer is the powerful
Content Distribution and Management Server. The
Content Distribution Management System (CDMS) is an
optional licenced component in the R4i Product suite.
The CDMS resides between the CSDB and the IETP end
user and manages IETP software upgrades and IETP
Package Downloads.
The CDMS application comprises of a management
console, server component and distribution Nodes.
The Content Distribution and Management Server (CDMS) provides total control of Mobile IETP Provisioning
Working in conjunction with the Common Source
Database (CSDB), the CDMS enables the content owner
to provide the highest possible level of control over
distributed content and viewing applications. CDMS
features include:
• Distribution of online and offline IETP’s
• Automated Mobile IETP Viewer updates
• Delivery of Alerts/Bulletins
• Independent of the Google Play site
• Deliver Software Updates
Multiple CDMS Nodes are supported. The use of multiple
Nodes prevents Wide Area Networks being saturated as
large numbers of maintainers and operators update their
IETP’s.
The CDMS includes device activity logging and secure
access to content. New IETP content can be staged and
then published with a single click. The CSDB is integrated
with the R4i CSDB Server, enabling R4i Administrators to
automatically generate and upload IETP’s to the CDMS.
Supported operating systems are Android Kit Kat and
Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The CDMS requires
Windows Internet Information Service 7.0.
