AWARD CRITERIA
MAURICE DAIGLE SCHOLARSHIP FUND AND
N.B. GROWERS GOLF TOURNAMENT SCHOLARSHIPS 2015
(1)
The awards are open to students whose parent, or parents are registered growers or have been registered
and are no longer required to be registered with Potatoes New Brunswick
(2)
Applicants will study at a recognized agricultural college or university
(3)
The award shall be announced in November of each year and awarded at the successful completion of
the first semester. If the first semester has not been successfully completed by the student, the amount
will not be paid out, but will be added into the Fund’s principal.
(4)
The award shall be made for the purpose of furthering the recipient’s agricultural education at a
recognized agricultural university or college.
(5)
A notice will be mailed out in May to all registered growers
(6)
Applications must be received by the selection committee on or before June 30th.

For the N.B. Growers Golf Tournament Scholarships. The Scholarships will be first awarded to students that
fit the above award criteria. However, if criteria number (2) can’t be met, students who are enrolled in courses
related to agriculture at any colleges or universities can apply for this Scholarship. The availability of
scholarships will be determined by the number of applicants and the number of scholarships being offered.
Please note: N.B. Growers Golf Tournament Scholarship will only be offer if the tournament takes place.
