members Solidarity Walk at lunch time
Moncton: Members of UCTE 60602, at Heritage Place - Pizza lunch from 12:00
to 12:30
Moncton: Members of UEW 60727 will organize a morning greeting with coffee
and muffins at 7:30 AM, meet with members and take a group photo.
Saint John: Members of UVAE 60006 will be wearing solidarity stickers.
Dorchester: PIPSC and UCCO (Union of Canadian Correctional Officers)
members - Information rally at 12:00 - Meet at 4955 Main Street, Dorchester
(Dorchester Veterans Community Centre - AKA Old St Eds Hall)
Gagetown: Members of UNDE 60303 to meet at the Main gate at noon.
Fredericton /St. Andrews/St. George: Members of UEW 60067 ''Just for the
health of it'' will be giving away apple and orange slices to members along with
information on healthy workplaces.
Newfoundland and Labrador
St. John's: Members of CEIU 90113 at Mews Place – Demo of 19 minutes
beginning at 12 p.m.
St. John's: John Cabot Building - Multi Component - Members of UVAE 90002,
UNE 90350, UNE 99242, GSU 90011 and UCTE 90915 at the John Cabot
Building will provide information to members and signing support for the
bargaining teams and guest speakers 12:00 - 12:19 at the main entrance.
St. John's: Members of UNDE local 90101 - Invitation for other locals/unions in
the area to join them on the Boulevard in front of the DND building at noon for 19
minutes.
St. John's: Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Center - UEW locals 90001 and
90002, PIPSC and the Canadian Association of Professional
Employees (CAPE) will continue to do their 19 minute walk at lunchtime wearing
their sick leave t-shirts.
Gander: Gander Area Council to organize a walk inviting all unions to take
part. Details to follow.
Labrador City: Members of UCTE 90940 - Hawaii in Labrador - Members will be
in Hawaii gear and safety equipment in -45 and snow!
Nova Scotia
Halifax: Members of UTE 80003 will be organizing a rally at noon on March 18
(UTE only) at the Ralston building and wearing their Union t-shirts. (Come join

Halifax: Members of USGE 80025 are planning a plantgate at the gates of
Springhill institution from 7 AM to 8:30 AM. UCCO members will be joining them.
Halifax: Members of UNDE 80406, UNDE 80409, the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers (IBEW), the Federal Government Dockyard Trades and
Labour Council and PIPSC will be holding a 19 minutes demo at lunch time in the
parking besides the parking spaces they now pay for.
Sydney: Members of UTE 80004 will wear their Union t-shirts and take a group
photo in support of the bargaining team on March 18 (UTE only) at noon at 47
Dorchester Street.
Dartmouth: Members of UVAE 80041 will be donning Togas and celebrating
''The Ides of March''. In addition to cups of grape juice from wine decanters they
will be passing out easter eggs as they do a walkabout during the morning at 40
Aldnerney Drive.
Dartmouth: Members of CEIU 80227 will be walking around the block at
lunchtime at 48 Mellor Ave.
Kentville: Members of AGR 80003 and PIPSC will go outside for 19 minutes and
hold letters on signs that spell out ''Time for change - Oct. 19''.
Berwick: Members of AGR 80003 will send emails to MP Gregg Kerr or gather
outside for 19 minutes with a sign.
Greedwood: Members of UNDE 80403 will be having hot dogs with the entire
local around a snowbank with the number 19 prominently in the background.
Prince Edward Island:
Summerside: Members of UTE 90006 already called their members to update
their contact information and inform them of the activity taking place on the 18th
(UTE only). They will be wearing their Union t-shirt and a brief presentation at
noon (for the day shift) and 6 p.m. (for the evening shift) in front of the building.
Summerside & Charlottetown: Members of CEIU 90152 & 90153 will have
picket signs at the entrance of the workplace.
Charlottetown: Members of UTE 90002 will organize a plantgate on the morning
of the 18th (UTE only) and will be handing out a mug that will read Bargaining's
brewing, no beans about it.
