Announcement: Please make sure to check out the 2015 “City Lights” events schedule 2015
City Lights Events. On June 13 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the CHHD will be partnering to

host the “Foods of Philly” event at the 9 Street Italian Market in Philadelphia. The cost for
Alumni Association members is $25.
Best Practice Suggestions:
1) Bringing student club leaders into APG roles upon graduation.
2) PSAA “Real Life” program - $50 to the APG per new Life Member. The APG code
must be provided with the membership application.
3) APG business cards – upcoming workshops, career panels, etc.
4) Mentoring Program “Testimonies” on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Committee Objective & Membership:
Mentoring: Assist in recruitment of alumni mentors; Optional: Sponsor career activities for
students. Chair: Ken Cook / Members: Jenny Jackson, John Page, Lindsay Smith, Katie
Starkey, Felecia Williamson, Rick Brio, Matt Graybill, Jessica Havern and Heather Haefner
Awards: Nominate a minimum of one candidate for an award sponsored by the HHD Alumni
Society; Optional: Establish an APG awards program. Chair: Stephanie Donolli / Members:
Veronica Ariel, Reshma Patel, Kasey Rhein and Randy Coulthard
Communications: Work in concert with the affiliated academic unit to develop and distribute a
newsletter or other communication to be distributed to all alumni (either online, via email, and/or

Social/Professional Activities: Sponsor or co-sponsor at least one event per year (e.g., a
