Friday evening events On Friday evening we will visit the Denver Art Museum (DAM) where Creative Crossroads: The Art of Tapestry will be on view. Museum galleries are open until 8:00 pm. Untitled Final Friday will be taking place at the museum from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Dining is available at Palettes Restaurant, located in the museum complex. BYOB! Supply List • • • • • • • • • Prewarped tapestry loom. Need a loom? You can purchase a loom from the Recycled Lamb. Contact Cheryl: 303-‐234-‐9337, [email protected] o Warp with Brown Sheep wool warp (The Recycled Lamb has this warp for purchase) o Put a continuous warp on your loom o Sett the warp at 8 ends per inch and 4 – 5 inches wide Weft materials will be available in the class and are covered by the Materials Fee Scissors Hand Beaters/Forks Bobbins Measuring Tape/Ruler Quilting Thread and Needle(s) Tapestry Needles Note taking supplies Snacks The Recycled Lamb will have coffee in the morning and a basket of fruit and granola bars throughout the day. Lunch The Recycled Lamb will have a list of lunch options. You can also bring your own lunch to the workshop. Workshop Policies • • • • Be sure you are on time for the first class session. This session sets the foundation for the class. Please make arrangements for childcare during the workshop. Avoid wearing perfume and silence your cell phones as a courtesy to others.
