Advances in technology mean you now no longer need to be based on the trading floor to access financial markets. This has liberated many new traders but also greatly increases their responsibility to understand the products they trade before they risk their own funds. In addition to the theory candidates will be asked to take part in a number of simulations which replay market events, allowing candidates to see first hand what happened to the assets they trade, and why. We believe that these key areas are crucial to any trader’s progression towards consistent profitability. Fundamental Analysis Understand the fundamental driving factors behind equity, commodity, and fixed income valuations and how they effect currency valuations Understand how to apply advanced key theory to the live markets Gain critical knowledge of how to interpret market sentiment and apply it to your trading Trading Psychology Understand your psychological profile and how to leverage it to complement your trading Capitalise on the opportunities that suit your trading style Technical Analysis Understand technical analysis from a different perspective Utilise technical analysis to refine your trading and secure the best entries and exits Maximise your consistency by identifying levels with the highest probability of success. Application The markets will be closed over the weekend, so we have created a number of interactive simulations where candidates will be asked to apply some of the core theory learned. Apply your knowledge into the markets in three intense historical market moves and compete against other traders. All candidates will have extended free access to the Amplify’s virtual trading room after completion of the weekend programme for the rest of the month. Here, they will receive a live connection to the trading floor with support from our experienced team of traders. 3 TIMETABLE AND STRUCTURE 2015 We firmly believe a trader must understand what they are trading, before they risk money in the markets. Saturday covers each asset class in detail and Sunday’s focus is on Technical Analysis, Behavioural Finance and your own Trading Psychology.
