New Mini Miss / Young Ambassador Program
Jacqueline Bowen – 2015 Mini Miss AACFB
In September, Clare Kozycki, 2014 Miss AA Co
Farm Bureau, presented a program to the AACFB Board of
Directors called the “Mini Miss Anne Arundel Farm Bureau
Program”. Clare saw the need for girls, ages 12-15, to be
involved with Farm Bureau in order to prepare them for the
Miss County Program. The Directors approved Clare’s
program idea, gave her a budget to work with, and also
added a component that would include boys, ages 12-18,
with the hopes that these students would become involved
with the Young Farmers. Clare presented her program to
various schools and groups such as 4-H.
Clare held her program during the February Board
meeting. Jacqueline Bowen was honored as 2015 Mini Miss
AA Co Farm Bureau. Clare will work closely with
Jacqueline to help prepare her for a chance to become Miss
AACFB and compete with the other 22 counties for Miss
Maryland Agriculture.
Congratulations Jacqueline and best wishes as your
agricultural knowledge grows through this program!!!

Nationwide Insurance and Farm Bureau…Working Together since 1926
In 1926, Ohio Farm Bureau thought their members were paying too much for auto insurance so they started a company called
Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance. That company grew rapidly and changed its name to Nationwide in 1955.
Nationwide Insurance remains committed to its agricultural heritage and is endorsed by nine State Farm Bureaus and two
agricultural cooperatives.
Maryland Farm Bureau members are eligible for savings on these Nationwide Insurance products:
Auto - up to 7%
Boat - 5%
Condo – 5%
Home – 10%
Farm - 10%
ATV/Snowmobile – 5%
Motorcycle - 5%
Pet Insurance - 5%
RV – 5%
Each year throughout Maryland, Nationwide Insurance agents sign up new Farm Bureau members while offering these
discounts. Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau would like to thank each county agent for their assistance with membership.
The top 3 county agents for the 2014 membership year were: Jack Hutchison, Severna Park (163 members); Pam Beidle,
Glen Burnie (116 members): and Kathy Bye, Severna Park (103 members). Jack was also the top agent throughout Maryland.
Each Farm Bureau member is eligible to receive these discounts if they have Nationwide Insurance.
Call your local agent and ask about the discounts.
