SCIENCE HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
1. Obtain your vaccination chart from your parents. Find out
about the diseases you have been vaccinated against.
Make a brief presentation to show - names of the diseases,
parts of the body affected and symptoms.
2. “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”.
The kind of food that we eat reflects on our health. Hence, we
should consume healthy food in order to stay happy and
healthy. Prepare a report mentioning the food items that you
have consumed for a week and list the nutrients present in
them highlighting their role in maintaining our health.
3. All of us have suffered from various health related problems
like cold and cough, flu, stomach ache/stomach upset,
vomiting etc...Though all of us try to stay healthy, but still, at
times, we do fall ill and we are thus required to see a doctor.
Mention the names of any five common ailments which you
have been treated for and mention the medicines which have
been prescribed by your family doctor.

Make a scrapbook
 Landforms are relief features on the surface of the earth. Collect the
pictures of the dresses worn by the people living in the different
landforms like mountains, plains, deserts. Paste them in the
scrapbook and write few lines on them
 Environmental sensitivity
Are you sensitive towards your environment? Share how you
contribute towards saving the earth.
Draw, paste picture of yourself and write a few lines on how you
make a difference to save your planet earth.
 Reflect on cleanliness, reduce, reuse, recycle, no pollution,
saying no to use of plastic, planting trees etc.
