ACH involuntary reroute
calculation change
Participants of the Airlines Clearing House voted in
2014 to modify the current Involuntary Reroute
Calculator to use a percentage of the Weighted
Mileage Factor instead of the local fare when
determining the coupon value
These enhancements are effective in PIPPS beginning
1 April 2015. Any involuntary reroute calculation with a
date prior to 1 April will continue to use the local fare to
determine the coupon value
