On behalf of the coaching staff I would like to thank the local associations for all the time and effort they put into these athletes and our high performance programs SPP & NITP.” Vic Metro Women’s Head Coach Paul Flynn said: "I am genuinely excited by the team we have selected to represent Vic Metro at the U18 Australian Junior Championships in Ballarat this April. On behalf of our coaching and selection staff I would like to thank and commend all of the athletes that participated in the tryout process. Our selections were difficult given the high caliber of players we had to select from, which is a credit to the work being done at club level, Basketball Victoria's High Performance Programs and in the VJBL. I would like to extend our thanks to Basketball Victoria for their wonderful and ongoing support of this program and my personal thanks to my staff for their tireless efforts thus far. The 2015 Vic Metro U18 Women are an excellent group of young athletes, with their eyes firmly focused on the goal ahead. Together we will be working extremely hard in preparation for the National Championships, and I know as a team we will represent Vic Metro proudly." 2015 U18 COUNTRY MEN’S TEAM Players Jeremy Bolden Benjamin Dessent Tom Doedee Trent McMullan Timothy Molloy-Leigh Jacob Pupavac Michael Reidy Jonathon Sharp Samual Short Jack White Association Warrnambool Sale Geelong Wodonga Warragul Geelong Shepparton Wodonga Ballarat Traralgon Emergencies Oliver Bidmade Tristan Lloyd Thomas Pupavac Jarrod Russell Samuel Whelan Warrnambool Warragul Geelong Maffra Maffra Staff Head Coach: Assistant Coach: Assistant Coach: Team Manager: Staff Adam Tarr / Mildura Rebel Noter / Warrnambool Rob Baker / Ballarat Michael Bishop / Geelong 2015 U18 METRO MEN’S TEAM Players Pat Bines Mate Colina Nick Dane Gabe Hadley Ovie Magbegor Andrew Panayiotou Jack Perry Daniel Robertson Lachlan Signal Josh Tang Association Melbourne Melbourne Melbourne Diamond Valley Coburg Melbourne Dandenong Eltham Dandenong Melbourne Emergencies Chris Cagle Marcus Cusinato Matthew Day Bailey Griffiths Aidan O’Carroll Cameron Taylor Emergencies Knox Hawthorn Blackburn Melbourne Eltham Frankston Staff Head Coach: Assistant Coach: Assistant Coach: Team Manager: Nic Abdicevic / Melbourne David Peters / Melbourne Ricky Baldwin / Dandenong Mark Sainsbery / McKinnon Vic Country Men’s Head Coach Adam Tarr, said: “I believe we have picked a squad that will represent Country Victorian basketball with pride and passion in Ballarat at the under 18 National titles and one that has a lot of talent at every position on the floor.
