Some more info for you:
The Pajama Game won the Tony Award for Best Musical when
it opened on Broadway in 1954. Based on the novel 7 1/2
Cents by Richard Bissell, the show tells the story of a union
fight in a pajama factory for a seven and a half cent
raise. This struggle is further complicated when the
superintendent of the factory, Sid Sorokin, and one of the
union reps, Babe Williams, fall in love.
As the threat of a full out strike looms, Babe must choose
what’s most important to her—a chance at romance, or the
union that she has fought so hard for. Will workers’ rights
prevail? Or will love be given a fighting chance? Featuring the
popular songs Steam Heat, Hernando’s Hideaway, and There
Once was a Man, The Pajama Game is guaranteed to have you
singing and dancing in your seat!
