Corporation, now the Watson Homestead Conference & Retreat Center. Rooms
feature 2 double beds with private baths built in 1990 to house a burgeoning

where almost all of his popular novels were written during the 20 summers the Clements family spent in Elmira.
Sep. 9th: After a full breakfast depart for CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS. Each of us will blow
an ornament & make fused glass sun catcher. Then on to recently expanded $56 million wing
opened in March 2015. Lunch at Museum in café. Hot Glass demonstrations. Enjoy 2 special
exhibits: Ennion & His Legacy: Mold-Blown Glass from Ancient Rome On to Rakow Library
for America’s Favorite Dish: Celebrating a Century of Pyrex.
Cross the Chemung River for walking tour of historic Market Street.
Spirited end at BOTTLES & WINES for tasting of over 100 Finger Lakes wineries.
Evening Program with JENNY MONROE: Tales of Iroquois clan mother’s influence on women’s rights movement connecting
us with Seneca Falls site and matrilineal culture from confederacy founding in 1400’s to today.
Sept. 10th: Travel between two of the largest Finger Lakes passing
vineyards and quaint Watkins Glen, Women’s Rights National Historical
Park in Seneca Falls, tour of Wesleyan Chapel, site of 1st women’s
convention in 1848 plus time for Museum and exhibits. Lunch on your own!
Cost: $540/person/double occupancy; $75 additional for single occupancy. Includes bus, tips, admissions, guides,
