BIG4 Yarra Valley Holiday Park Guidelines
We hope that you enjoy your stay with us. If there is anything that
we can be of assistance please don’t hesitate to ask.
Reception: Check-in 2pm - 8pm. Arrivals after 8pm
must make prior arrangements with Reception.
Check-out 8.30am - 10am.
Kiosk: Open daily, 8.30am - 6pm.
Laundry: Located at the far end of the main amenities
block. Washers take four $1 coins. Dryers take 20c
coins. There is an ironing board in the Laundry and an
iron may be borrowed from Reception. Clothes must
not be left on the line overnight.
Newspapers: Can be ordered at Reception before
5pm, for the next day.
Noise: Confined within your site/unit between
10pm - 8am. Loud noise is not acceptable at any time.
Tourist Info: Available at Reception 8.30am - 6pm.
Pets: Sorry, pets are not permitted in the park.
Refunds: Not available if you shorten your stay.
Campfires: Only permitted with management
approval, along the creek in existing fireplaces.
No fires are allowed during proclaimed fire restriction
periods. Unattended fires are not permitted and must
be extinguished with water. You may BYO wood or
collect fallen branches from the bush areas. The use
of chainsaws is not permitted.
Speed Limit: ‘Walking pace only’ speed limit applies
throughout the park.
Children: Must have adult supervision at all times, as
we have a creek frontage, lake and swimming pool.
Bikes/Scooters: Must be ridden with a helmet and
must not be ridden after dark around amenities.
No Smoking: For health and safety reasons, all
BIG4 Yarra Valley Holiday Park buildings, including
accommodation are smoke free zones.
Garbage: Please place all rubbish in the bins provided.
Bins for recycling newspapers, bottles and cans are
located in various places around the park. Please do
not empty fat, oil or grease down the sinks, waste or
gully traps - allow to solidify discard in bins provided.
Procedures: In the event of an emergency evacuation,
please proceed to the Safety Refuge Zones (golf
course and the Creek BBQ areas) where a staff
member will take your names. Please leave your
luggage and cars at your cabins/sites.
Please note: No responsibility of any kind can be
accepted for any loss or damage occasioned by any
means whatsoever whilst in the park. Management
reserves the right to cancel accommodation in the
event of inappropriate behaviour by guests or their
visitors. The park is bounded by private property
- so please respect this. To help the environment
please SAVE ENERGY & WATER - every little bit makes
a difference - Thanks.
Visitors: Day Visitor’s time is 10am to 5pm. A fee
applies for day visitors to the park. Visitors are the
responsibilty of the guests inviting them. Visitors must
report to Reception before entering the park and cars
must be parked in the Visitor’s Car Park not at the
Reception’s Check In parking at the front of the park.
Swimming Pool: Open daily, 8am - 8pm. Children
must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst in
the swimming pool area.
Jumping Cushion: Common sense rules as displayed
at Jumping Cushion to be obeyed please.
Access to sites: For safety reasons, free movement
must be possible between sites. Awnings, tarps etc.
must not be placed between adjoining sites. We ask
you in respect to others not to walk through other
peoples sites.
Equipment Hire: See Reception for details.
Camp Kitchen: Camp Kitchen must be left in a tidy
manner, food left in the fridge must be labelled with
name, site and departure date. Staff will remove any
unlabelled items. NO alcohol to be left in the fridge.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7pm-10pm. Sat-Sun 12pm-8pm.
Floor coverings: All floors on grass sites must permit
the grass to breathe. Shade cloth and hessian are
suitable. Non-breathing materials such as plastic
or rubber are not suitable.
BBQ’s: Situated on the creek reserve as well as near
the Hillside Cabins. Both gas/electric BBQ’s are free.
