Burbage Parish Council Bowling Green Bridge Road Burbage Leicestershire The Home of Burgess Bowls Club & Burbage Crusaders Bowling Club Burbage Parish Council Bowling Green is situated off Bridge Road adjacent to the public tennis court and car park. All residents wishing to play bowls are required to be Parish Council season ticket holders in addition to any club membership which may be held. The green, club house and changing facilities are managed by Burbage Parish Council. Two active bowling clubs, Burgess Bowls Club and Burbage Crusaders Bowling Club use the site as their home ground and arrange training sessions and social events as well as their match fixtures. The bowling season begins in April each year and ends towards the end of September. During this time the green is open 7 days a week from 2.00 - 9.00pm. Access to the green and car park is via a key entry system and individually identified keys are available to all season ticket holders.
