The High Five Facial Hair Freestyle Competition, the judges will be asked to consider originality and creativity as well,
the judges will be asked to determine which contestant’s facial hair best enhances his overall appearance, style, and
personality. Bring Your “A” Game!
Rules
1. The High Five Facial Hair Freestyle Beard Off is open to all competitors.
2. The competition will take place in two categories. Each competitor will specify the category in which he wishes to
compete when he registers Beard or Moustache.
3. Competitors who do not meet the qualifications for the category in which they have registered will be placed into
the correct category.
4. By registering for the competition, all competitors give their permission to the organizers and to the organizers’
designees that the competitors may be photographed, videotaped, and tape recorded and further that the organizers
and their designees may use the photographs, video tapes, and audio tapes of the competitor for any purpose
including commercial purposes.
5. Each of the (3) C2's hand picked judges will rank the competitors in each of the two categories live at the C2 Expo
with 1-10 score cards on Sunday June 13th 2015 on the main stage. In the event of a tie for any of the first three places
in each catagory, the competitor who removes / shaves all of their facial hair first will become the victor and win the
tie breaker, no resources will be offered at the event so please be ready for your own tie breaker if by chance we have
a tie in the removal process the closest shave/removal of facial hair will win that tie breaker.
6. Any competitor who does not appear when called to the stage will be eliminated.
7. The organizers reserve the right to modify these rules at any time. Any rule modifications will be announced
publicly before the competition begins.
8. All decisions of the judges and organizers are final.
9. The judges will receive no information regarding judging except for the official judging criteria which are available
to the public. Any judge who is personally acquainted with any of the competitors may not vote in the category in
which such competitor competes.
10. Discourteous, abusive, or unprofessional behavior by a contestant may lead to disqualification at the organizers’
discretion.
11. Artificial facial hair is not permitted.
12. Artificial styling aids such as moustache wax, hair spray, hair cream, styling foam, hair gel, hair pins, rubber bands,
hair ties, and such are all fair bring your “A” game.
