Composting:
Wood Ash is used as a bulking agent at compost operations through
out New England. Wood Ash helps control odors, improves
compost appearance and may even eliminate the need for screening.
Topsoil:
Wood Ash serves an important ingredient in topsoil production as it
balances soil pH, darkens blended products, adds valuable major
and minor elements and organic matter.
