Wednesday May 6 Sing-Along Worship for ALL ages in the Fellowship Hall at
6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share! Pot-Luck Dinner in the Pine
Tree Patio 5:30 p.m.
Thursday May 7 Family Game Night 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Fun for little and big
kids! Bring your favorite game and snack to share in
Room E23.
Friday, May 8 Family Movie Night! 5:30 p.m. popcorn, nachos, and drinks
provided! Vote on what movie to watch...bring extra snacks or
some pillows to relax on the floor in Fellowship Hall.

Unit Meeting Wednesday, May 6
Our theme for May is Welcoming through Laughter. Our speaker will be Dr. Tom Potter, local humorist and bluesman. Tom
spoke at the annual TMM meeting here at the church a few
years ago.

We will have pizza and salad at noon in Fellowship Hall followed by the program.
This is our last meeting before summer, so hope to see you there. Bring a friend!
Upcoming Sundays at Catalina
Gardeners Needed! We are
looking for gardeners who
would like to work 2-4 hours a
week helping other gardeners
work on the flower beds and
roses around our campus on
Thursdays or Fridays. If you have some spare time
every week that you would like to give, please contact the church office, 327-4296, and they will have
someone get in touch with you.

Fellowship Hall. Our guest speaker
will be David Hernandez. He will be
speaking on “Musical Instruments
Around the World” with unique and
unusual examples. The coffee will be ready at
8:00 a.m., along with our famous $3.00 breakfast.

Catalina's Shalom UMW Circle would like to invite
all women to our April meeting, Tuesday, April 28th
at 7:00 p.m. in Room E-18. Our program will be
presented by Ms. Andrea Birch and Mr. Andy
Stang, both from the Department of Child Safety
(DCS.) The program title is: "DCS and the Faith
Community."

the northeast corner of our property, just outside of
the northeast sanctuary door, is designated handicapped parking. Please do not park in a spot designated "handicapped" unless you have the proper

of Jason and Katie’s daughter Claire Plemmons
Schukraft who was born on Friday, April 3, 2015.
She weighted 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches
long.
Regular Schedule Youth
Group meets tonight. Join
us from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
for fun activities, a great dinner, discussion, prayer, Bible study, and hanging out with your friends.
We begin on the South Lawn.
DISTRICT GAME NIGHT April 26. We will
gather with other Methodist youth groups at St.
Paul’s UMC for a fun time of activities and getting to know each other. Meet at Catalina at
3:30 p.m. and we will return for pick up by 7:00
p.m. We will have fun activities, a great dinner,
and a time to meet new people! Parents are
needed to help us drive youth to St. Paul's and
back to Catalina. Contact Richard if you can

Food Trucks on First Street.

Thanks to the donations that Catalina's members have made to the Blenman Account through the
month of January, Blenman coaches have reported giving away a total of 368 free books, reading 386
books and spending 8,345 minutes (or over 139 hours) working with children. Thank you for what
you have done this far! Reading Seed will compile the 2nd semester. Your generous gifts over the past
year help defray the costs.
