PTA Meeting The next PTA meeting is April 8th at 9:15am. Traci
Meziere, the 5th Grade Assistant Principal from
Highcrest, will be at the meeting to talk about
Highcrest Middle School and how they support 4th
Grade transitions. It is always an informative
meeting, especially for 4th Grade parents. Please
mark your calendars!
Save the date! The Central School Blast Off will be Friday, May
29th. Dudley Fair (our friendly crossing guard) and
his band, South Boulevard, will be playing. We will
have food trucks, beer and wine, and lots of great
auction items. Mark your calendars, more details to
come. (Please note this date change due to conflict
with Adventure Guides.)

Central students and their families! We will be
raffling off The American Girl Doll of the Year, Grace
Thomas, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Bingo
winners will be awarded prizes. Proceeds from this

features Frank Bruni and is entitled, "Where You Go
is Not Who You'll Be: An Antidote to the College
Admissions Mania." Thursday, April 9th at
7:00pm in Cornog Auditorium - New Trier,
Northfield campus. Please see the FAN website for
more details. School Supply Kit Orders - We have

year to purchase school supply kits for
the 2015-2016 school year. If you have a
child going into K through 4th Grade next school
year, please consider buying your kits through

grade your child will be in NEXT school year. D39 Foundation Certificates of Appreciation Looking for a gift for Teacher Appreciation Week or

honoree and add him/her to a virtual Wall of
Honor. All donations to the Foundation help fund

9th for a bike ride to commemorate the unveiling of
our two new student-designed bike racks. The first
rack will be "unveiled" at 8:00am at Village Hall and
then a parade of riders will bike to the second
unveiling ceremony at 9:00am at the Community

most frequent volunteer for Jan-FebMarch! Congratulations also go to Julie

for our March raffle (for 2x times
